Princeton, KY — A 19-year-old man charged with knife assault in Princeton, Kentucky, despatched a 45-year-old man to an out-of-state hospital.
The Princeton Police Division says officers responded to studies of a stabbing within the 300 block of North Seminary Road at 5:34 p.m. Tuesday. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered 45-year-old Joseph D. Traylor mendacity on the street. He was stabbed within the chest.
The Police Division says officers took life-saving measures till the arrival of Caldwell County EMS responders. EMS responders took Traylor to Caldwell County Hospital, and from there he was later taken to Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
Police say 19-year-old addict T. Christie, suspected of being stabbed, returned to the scene at 5:44 p.m. and handed himself over to police.
Officers arrest Christie and take him to the police division to be interviewed. The police division claims that Christie admitted to being stabbed throughout that interview.
Christie was charged with first-degree assault and jailed on the Caldwell County Jail.
